Our photographer

For many years Little Dippers have worked with media-related underwater photography. We have been involved in a number of major advertising campaigns and films including:

  • BBC's Human Body
  • Worldwide IMAX films
  • Evian
  • Barnardos

Zac Macaulay is the primary photographer for our shoots. Zac is a professional underwater photographer with an extensive portfolio of images.

  • he has a full enhanced DBS certificate
  • is disclosure checked
  • holds the all important HSE qualifications, a legal requirement to work underwater in the UK

He has been photographing babies and children underwater for over 12 years, shooting for leading swim schools in London and all over the South of England. When not photographing children, Zac is much sought-after both as an advertising photographer and as one of the UK's very few full-time underwater photographers.

All of our shoots are handled by Zac's company to book a shoot Visit Zac's Little Dolphin Images website www.littledolphinimages.com

The shoot

The shoots are half an hour sessions with a maximum of 5 babies in each session. After a short warm up each baby will have 5-6 submersions. You will be required to go in the pool and supervise your baby whilst other babies are doing dips. The attending instructor will perform all submersions unless you wish to go under with your baby and have a photo together.

We take a number of photos of your baby underwater, however unfortunately we cannot guarantee how your baby will perform on the day, therefore, we are under no obligation to refund or re-schedule a shoot.

After the shoot

After your shoot we will give you details on how to view your images online. It can take us up to 5 working days to upload them so please be patient.

Please be aware that one gallery is allocated to each half hourly session. This means that you will be able to see ALL photos of ALL babies in your session and these will be uploaded in ONE gallery which ONLY the parents who attended that session are able to access.

Please note that images that appear online are very low quality as our web server space is limited. They also have not been adjusted in any way from their raw state and may contain the arms and legs of the teacher. These are automatically removed when you place your order with us.

You are not under any obligation to order any images however, should you decide to buy your photos, they will be delivered to you via WeTransfer data transfer.  If you would like your images on a CD this will cost an extra £10.
